Hello everybody, and welcome to DASH Online.
What is DASH?
DASH, short for Diabetic Association of St. Albans & Harpenden, is a local Youth Support Group for Diabetes UK.
Why Are You Online?
DASH has decided to go online to improve communication between all families and members. We think it will be easier to distribute information for families and children by making them downloadable.
So What Exactly Can I Do Here?
At DASH, we regularly host meetings, group activities and parties, so we have put them all in an Events page for everybody to check out.
We also believe that all families and members associated with DASH should be able to contact one another. No, we haven't put your contact details online, but we have made a guestbook for you.
Think you might have deleted one of the Newsletters we sent you? Don't worry; all of our newsletters are available to download.
We have various documents which are available to view and download. One, which is very important, is the Glossary of Terms. Every family should print a copy out.
Want to know if someone is a risk of Diabetes? We have an online test which you can take which will give you a rough guide.
Feeling hungry? We have put together a section dedicated to foods which are ideal for any person with Diabetes.
